Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy traveled to meet with Ukrainian forces in the Donetsk region on the start of the week. The president confirmed that he met with warriors at the command post of the initial brigade of the state defense force Azov, which is conducting a defensive operation in the Dobropillya area, an urban center approximately 20km from the focal point.

Intense Situation in the Area

Recent mapping from a national effort indicated that invading troops had pushed further into the city and surrounding areas, though much of it remained beyond firm control by any party. The situation remains critical, with accounts indicating that Russian forces were digging in and enhancing fortifications in various sectors.
